the academic blogspot: ready-steady-ON

I have been feeling for a while that an online, FB-type place to store academic connections would make my life, and possibly the lives of others, easier. Somewhere to keep links to online journals and papers so they don't get lost in my inbox. Somewhere to discuss the latest and greatest of this antiquated profession that is ironically obsessed with being oh so current. No matter what era you study, there is a "new" theoretical practice with which to enlighten it. Here is a space for the enlightenment to wash over me, and then pool and puddle about my feet. Nothing is lost, once it is on the internet.
