After looking at the three cases, I think that their actions are outrageous. Why should one being born to become a sex slave? Will there be anyone, who wants to be in any of the situation mentioned? I doubt there is anyone would want such a life.
There is one thing that puzzled me. Why in the three contexts above, the crimes they committed did not infringe human rights? In the past, women are sometime slaves, woman are only allow to stay at home, women are ones not being able to receive a lot of education. However, all of us are in the modern society. Things had changed. Almost everyone in the world is being treated equally despite of their gender.
We are given the rights to live on, as a woman myself, I learnt to protect myself. Looking at the first case, police officer treated a women like a sex slave. However, she was not brave enough to have reported him immediately to the police. With his position, he will get twice the sentence for what he had committed. However, the women in the article chose to keep it to her rather than letting her husband know. It took her years to only have the courage to leave the job but still she refused to reveal to her husband. Being able to protect ourselves also meant that, in such a situation that we can stop immediately by just telling our love ones, we will not even need to suffer in silence. Although such a situation is not something that one would reveal. By revealing to someone could stop our sufferings why not reveal and save ourselves. This does infringe the human rights of a human, it has cause humiliation to a women.
All in all, as women, protect ourselves, as the law could not cover much on our human rights. We as women should protect ourselves and not let such humiliating situation ruin the rest of our life. Future is in our hands, whether such things would happen again is still dependent on individual how much they are willing to protect their own rights.
